K.L. Soverns is a writer of fiction and memoir who dabbles in minor film roles and actively pursues opportunities to showcase her artistry in candy sculptures, ceramics, and photography. Eager to build her portfolio of published works, she has submitted over a dozen works to various literary journals and working to market her first novel to a partner literary agent. My Story
Though I've worked in technical fields throughout my career, I've always been a storyteller -- whether through art, film and stage hobby acting and, of course, in my writing. I've lived and worked in 12 countries and visited many more, which adds to a richness of experience and awareness in my characters. A native of West Virginia, I slip in and out of my Appalachian tongue with a facility that my characters sometimes adopt when they must adapt.
